Benny is a first generation
(F1) with a short flat hair coat. This coat type is short and
flat, with little or no wave to it, will vary in thickness.
There is some feathering or wispy hairs on the legs, tail, around
the ears, eyes and chin. This is a good coat type for those
who like the look of the lab, but want something a little bit
different. This hair coat will shed the most of all the
different coat types. Care for this coat type is easy, wash
and some brushing. Of all they coat types this one will shed the
most. |

Cody is a first generation (F1) with a
long flat hair coat. This coat type is long and can be either
straight or have some wave to it. The coat will also vary in
thickness and can have long or short waves along the backline with
wispy hairs around the eyes, ears, and on legs and tails. This
coat type will shed, not as much as Benny's coat type. Care
for this coat is easy, wash and some brushing. The degree of
shedding will vary with this coat type. |

Brandon is a first generation (F1) with
long wispy coat. This coat type is similar to Cody's coat but
not as long and with a bit more of the wispy hair. Care for

Lucy is a first generation (F1) long
wavy coat. This coat type is long and wavy with an fine under
coat. The coat will vary in thickness, length and can be
straight or curly. The care for this coat takes a bit more
work. It needs to be washed and brushed with a brush that will
work on the under coat. It may be a good idea to get this coat
type professionally groomed from time to time. The degree of
shedding is very slight. |
| Curly Coat |
 |
Molly like her sister Lucy
is a first generation (F1) with a long curly coat. This coat
will also have a fine under coat. Like the other types it will
vary in thickness and length. This coat will need to be washed
and brushed. This is a coat type that should be professionally
groomed form time to time. The degree of shedding is very
slight. |
| Fleece Coat |
 |
Riley in a second generation (F1B)
fleece coat. This coat type is distinctly soft, fleecy
"feel" that is like no other dog coat. It is a
single coat, with no fluffy undercoat. The coat is not
thick or fuzzy, but has loopy spirals that can hang up to 6
inches long. The dog is fun to look at and to play with,
but remember with this generation grooming is a must to keep the
coat looking fluffy and loopy. |
| Woolly Coat |

Brinkley is a second generation
(F1B) with a woolly coat. This coat feels very similar to
a pure breed Standard Poodle. This is a little to no
shedding generation. Just keep in mind that no dog breed
is a totally non-shedding. The coat may have a tightly curled
look or a look that is loose. Brinkley has a tightly
curled coat type. One of the characteristics of this coat
type is that it very soft to the touch. It makes you want to
touch and pet your dog all day long. This generation needs
to bee groomed on a regular basis. If grooming is left too
long, matting can become very bad and the dog will need to be
shaves. If you don't mind a bit of grooming, this is the
generation for you. |
