At Acme Creek Kennels, we like to think of our boarding accommodations as a camp like atmosphere rather than a boarding kennel. At Acme Creek Kennel everybody loves their job, but we all think who wouldn't love to work with animals all day.  We feel there is never a dull moment at our place.  We like to think the dogs agree with us.

We offer many extra options for our guests during their stay (Ala Carte). We are always adding new things for our guests to do.  Just a few of our favorites are our playgroups and walks in the woods.  We always get a smile on our faces watching the crazy things dogs do in playgroups.  The dogs love the walks in the woods.  Because Acme Creek Kennels is out in the country, the dogs get to smell all kinds of wonderful smells like rabbits, deer and the walk by the chicken coop.  The chicken coop is always a favorite!!

We welcome your visits.  Tours are given Tuesday through Thursday or by appointment on weekends.  We do not do tours during holidays due to the higher number of boarders and we like to keep the stress level low for our guests.  Please call for answers to any questions.  231-938-9518

Monday - Saturday check out time is 1:00.  After 1: there is a full day board charge.

Sundays there is a full day board.

Deluxe accommodations include three exercises per day, once in the morning, in the afternoon and in the evening before bedtime.  Our guests may bring in their comfortable beds or blankets from home.   Also included in the deluxe accommodations is an extra special bedtime treat each night.  For those hot summer nights the deluxe accommodations are air conditioned.

In the general accommodations our guests may bring a small blanket or mat that adds a bit of comfort from home.  Any items that they bring must be easily washed.  Treats are welcomed and will be given throughout the day and at bed time.
